LPKF Gantry XY 160/120 GL
General description
The LPKF XY 160/120 GL Gantry Drive is a precision positioning system with air bearings and a monolithic granite sub-structure. It consists of two separate axes, each of which is individually optimized. Guidance is by means of air bearings along high-precision granite paths.Each axis has a high-resolution linear scale with an exact reference point.
The use of direct current linear motors with air-core rotors enables highly dynamic positioning and motion tasks to be performed.
Application
The LPKF XY 160/120 GL is preferably used in machines which place high demands on path accuracy and productivity. These include:
