LPKF Gantry XY 120/80 GL

General description

The LPKF XY 120/80 GL Gantry Drive is a precision positioning system with air bearings and a monolithic granite sub-structure. It consists of two separate axes, each of which is individually optimized. Guidance is by means of air bearings along high-precision granite paths. Each axis has a high-resolution linear scale with an exact reference point.
The use of direct current linear motors with air-core rotors enables highly dynamic positioning and motion tasks to be performed.

Application

The LPKF XY 120/80 GS Gantry Drive is particularly used in machines which place high demands on path accuracy with moderate dynamic performance. These include: Laserschneid- und Graviersysteme (z.B. Fotoschablonen)
